It all began in Toulouse, but WAYDA really took off in Paris. We took the first WAYDA scarf – in the BIG size and available in just one colour, my favourite classic anthracite grey – to the trade fair in Paris and presented it there. We didn’t know what the reaction would be, but it was a resounding success, as the retailers who visited the fair immediately understood our vision, even though we didn’t have a wide range. It was the fabric, the focus on quality and the way we conveyed the brand’s ethos that won them over. It was incredible! Thanks again to everyone who continues to showcase and understand our brand to this day!

Paris also remains a magnet for style and a sense of style. That’s where our clothing pieces come from: the classic white shirt, the classic white T-shirt, and a good pair of grey denim trousers for the girls.
